Humanity Canceled My Membership

This is an apology from me that is long overdue. If I have excluded you, demeaned you, or damned you, I apologize. Bridges are not built by throwing stones but by laying them together. I have thrown too many stones at parents I have had disagreements with and I have been an ineffective advocate because I haven’t sought to bring people together but at times my message has been one of division and exclusion. This wasn’t what I meant to do. I think for many folks, compromise and conciliation comes naturally, but it hasn’t for me. In many ways, I’m still learning. What I hope to do with this video is to make peace by acknowledging that I have been you and I understand though I have spent little time acknowledging this. Everyone wants to do what they think is best for their children and we all cross the bridge the best we know how. Many of us are alone, locked out and discarded, much like our children. If you are one of those folks that I have offended either purposely or by accident, I offer you my sincerest apology.
